With breath-taking mountain peaks for a backdrop, Telluride Jazz Festival combines the rich tradition, modern styles and cutting edge progression of the American art form Jazz with a reputation of being America's destination Jazz event nestled in the majestic San Juan mountain range. Thge festival showcases three days and nights of world class jazz, funk, soul, folk and gospel, with a goal of community engagement and student education. A musically-charged local culture accompanied by a wide variety of special events including artist workshops, daily winery and distillery tastings, interactive artist performances, children's activities, cozy late night club shows, and much more will round out the weekend celebration.
